Azuliber, leading company in production and supply of atomized red clays with a production superior to 1,200,000 tons per year. It has a white and porcelain paste atomization plant for supplies and own consumption, launched in September 1999.
Azuliber started its activity in 1972 as a producer of unglazed clay bodies. Its activity has evolved to offer today a wide range of ceramic products: clays, stoneware flooring in red body, white body and porcelain.
Company producing electric energy by cogeneration with use of hot air from the turbine in the atomizers, with a productive capacity of 17,700 kilowatts / hour. Since 2008, a new turbine of 14.200kv has been operating, incorporating a new low emission system.
Azuliber makes a major effort in design within the most advanced and current trends in fashion, trying to create its own and differentiated style.

ECOLOGICAL COMMITMENT

Azuliber provides a service of collection and reusage of sludge and ceramic suspensions to more than 30 companies in the sector, eliminating one of the main pollutants in the industry. The company has an authorized quota to collect 187 million kg per year. As an important part of Azuliber's commitment, since December 2006 the company has been granted the Integrated Environmental Authorization. This was then renewed in 2013.

QUALITY CONTROL

Azuliber keeps up a System of Quality Management to ensure compliance with current legislation by a system based on the UNE-EN-ISO 14001 and UNE-EN-ISO 9001. By applying this system ensures continuous improvement in the area of environmental protection and quality management processes.
